To help us capture your wedding day smoothly and beautifully, please take a moment to review the following helpful tips. These small preparations make a big difference and help us document every important moment of your celebration.
Communication Before the Wedding
Please send us the full addresses and locations of all venues via WhatsApp at least 3 days before the event.
If possible, it is also very helpful to provide a simple timeline of the day, including approximate times for:
• Bridal or groom preparation
• Ceremony
• Couple portraits
• Family group photos
• Reception and evening events
Having this information helps us plan ahead and ensures we don’t miss any important moments.
Mobile Phones
During the ceremony or stage photography, we kindly ask that guests avoid standing in front of the photographer or videographer.
Many guests enjoy taking their own pictures, which is completely understandable, but please remind them not to block the professional cameras or distract the couple during important moments.
Bride Preparation
For the best preparation photos and video:
• Hang the wedding dress and veil in a well-lit area.
• Place jewellery, shoes, perfume, and accessories neatly together.
• Keep important items ready so we can photograph them easily.
These preparation shots are beautiful details that help tell the full story of the day.
Photo Checklist
If there are specific moments you would like captured, please let us know. Typical moments include:
• Family photos
• Individual portraits
• Leaving the house
• Getting into the wedding car
Arrival at the Ceremony Venue
If possible, please allow the photographer to arrive at the venue slightly before you. This gives us time to:
• Set up equipment
• Capture the venue décor
• Prepare to photograph your entrance
If you arrive first, kindly wait outside so we can capture your entrance properly.
Travel Time Between Locations
If your wedding includes multiple locations, please allow enough time for travel between venues. This ensures we can capture every moment without rushing.
The Ceremony
• When the bride enters the ceremony hall, walking slowly allows us to capture beautiful photographs and video.
• Leave a small gap between the bride and bridesmaids for clear photos.
• When the rings are presented, the best man should stand slightly to the side so the moment remains visible.
• During the first kiss, pause for a moment so we can capture the perfect shot.
Signing the Certificate
In some venues photography may not be allowed during the signing. If this happens, we will recreate the moment afterward by taking:
• Signing photographs
• Photos with witnesses
• Photos with bridesmaids and best man
• Photos with the parents
• Photos of the couple with the certificate
After the Ceremony
When the ceremony finishes, please wait briefly for guests to exit before you walk out.
For confetti photos, ask guests to form two lines outside the venue so the couple can walk through the middle.
Group Photos
Common group photographs include:
• All guests together
• Bride and groom with bridesmaids and best man
• Bride and groom with each set of parents
• Bride and groom with family and relatives
• Additional family groups if requested
We also recommend allowing around 15–30 minutes for couple portraits.
Additional Tips
• If outdoor photos are planned, bringing comfortable or flat shoes can be helpful.
• If a suitable location is not available at the ceremony venue, we can take couple portraits at the reception location.
• Please leave a small space near the top table so the photographer can capture natural moments during the meal.
Evening Highlights
Key evening moments we will capture include:
• Cake cutting
• First dance
• Dancing and celebration with guests
Final Advice
Your wedding day goes by very quickly, so the most important thing is to relax and enjoy every moment. Our role is to quietly capture the emotions, laughter, and memories that make your day unique.
